Scopus adds construction installation and management service

Scopus adds construction installation and management service

In addition to our well established dimensional control survey, lean engineering and fabrication management services, Scopus is delighted to announce the development of our construction services; to complement our existing offering and provide our clients with a full service to mechanical handover.

Our experienced construction team is integrated within our engineering and design team to ensure that all aspects of construction are considered from an early stage. We also take responsibility for planning, manpower requirements, materials, plant equipment and reporting.

Our multi-skilled offshore team is tailored to meet the requirements of the scope of installation. With minimal supervision (a working foreman), the team is self-managed and self-motivated with the ultimate goal of safe, efficient, first-time-fit installation.

Mark Downie, Interim General Manager said: “Scopus has always been at the forefront of delivering what the market needs, and recognises that by delivering safe, cost-effective and flexible construction services we are providing our customers with an alternative solution for site execution. We have already successfully delivered this service to a North Sea customer who has benefitted significantly from the integrated multi-skilled construction team. With reduced interfaces, and fit-for-purpose reporting, it was the most cost-effective way to deliver the project from scope initiation to mechanical completion. With this service our customers are really seeing the benefits of our construction management experience, which we can deliver flexibly, from ad-hoc scopes, to campaign work”.
